THINGS TO KNOW ABOUT SMART FOR YOUTH BOWLERS
SMART FUNDS - INFORMATION
USBC ID
Did you know USBC ID’s are used to identify people and their bowling activity? Having multiple ID’s is not good for youth or adults. Information such as SMART accounts, membership, RVP status, and coaching are just a few areas that need to be tied into a member’s USBC ID.
We need your help to look for the current USBC ID when entering a league for not only the participants but officers as well. In addition, when assigning scholarship funds through the SMART portal check to make sure you find the current USBC ID.
Contact Information
USBC’s preferred method of contact is email. This is especially true for SMART. We are emailing youth each time a funded scholarship is added to their account. It is vital you include email addresses when entering information and please keep email addresses current.
We need your help to obtain up-to-date email addresses, so please review your records and help us out. Youth contact information can be updated using the Youth Processing system. Also, encourage the youth or their parent/guardian to log into their SMART account and update their profile with current contact information.
We appreciate any help you can give us by using one USBC ID, per person, and updating any existing contact information that may be incorrect. Your assistance will help us provide better service to youth bowlers and their parents/guardians regarding scholarship and membership management.
